Bel-Art Clear TPX® (polymethylpentene) plastic cylinders are non-wetting to prevent a concave meniscus, making the raised numeral, single scale graduations easy to read.




Features:

  • TPX cylinders are easier to see as they are clear and the markings are normally screen printed on – making TPX cylinders as accurate as glass cylinders
  • Other non-clear plastic cylinders are moulded markings and the markings are not easy to read
  • Wide octagonal base prevents tipping and rolling
  • Superior chemical resistance
  • Safe for use to 175oC; steam autoclavable at 121oC
  • Shatter-proof; glassware is regarded as being the most accurate, but they cracked and got broken easily, either the base or the top
