The MR series magnetic stirrer is suitable for liquid or solid-liquid mixture. It can be stirred or heated/stirrer at the same time to provide strong mixing and precise temperature control.

Safety features

  • Independent control circuit - In addtion to the sensors which directly measure the sample and the hot plate, integrated safety also provides an additional, absolutely independent, safety circuit on the hot plate. This ensures the critical temperature of the medium can never be exceeded - even when the temperature sensor in the medium or in the heating element is defective or fails completely.
  • Locking function - Prevents accidental changes to the set speed and temperatrure values.
  • Safety glass - Hardened, unbreakable glass which is particularly resistant to chemicals.
  • Automatic self-monitoring - All safety-relevant components have a self-monitoring function which guarantees safety in case of breakdown.
  • Temperature warning - Delivers an automatic warning as soon as the residual heat of the hot plate exceeds 50 degC when the heating is switched off.
  • Custom safety temperature - Possible to individually set the maximum temperature allowed to ensure safety for different samples.
